The Douglas County Wildlife area, Often called the “Bird Sanctuary” and locate south of Foxboro is a 4000+ acre pine barrens habitat managed for sharp-tailed grouse and other wildlife. It offers extensive hiking, birdwatching and is famous for is horseback riding amenities and fall field trails.
